yeah, good music can draw screwed up fans–look at you! LOL LOL LOL
FYI Hendrix was into quite mystical stuff. . .I know people that knew him personally, and all you have to do is watch Rainbow Bridge to get that clear. Someof my buds were there when they shot the scenes in Hawaii with Hendrix for that film. .
While a lot of New Age stuff barfs me out, that shouldn’t be confused with mysticism per se– Jimi was as mystical as they come. . .
psychedelic spirituality doesnt need to be tainted by stupid new age ‘age of aquarius’ stupidity. the best thing hendrix did was turn himself on. the worst thing hendrix did was turn other people on by showing the limitless heights you can attain through psychedelic mysticism.
people think simply taking a drug can make you a spiritual adept, when it actually takes intellectual preparation combined with drugs
i have always loved this song, i have bipolar type 1 and my cousin who loves him more then me, shes also has bipolar(type 2), and we just have so much fun listening to this song and talk about life and stuff, him and eric clapton are gods!
I am bipolar 1 too……Love this song………..I am as good as a drummer the same way Hendrix is good with his guitar………bipolar people rule and pround of bieng one
I was at this concert … I hate to admit! I played guitar poorly at that time … but now I can do this same thing and torture my neighbors with the “noise”. And …. I will never stop!
