I suppose itll be different for everyone but for me the difference is the feeling the music evokes. Good DSBM (like this) makes me feel alone and full of despair. and in a weird way i enjoy sitting down bymyself with a coffee (or a glass of wine) and a ciggy and allowing myself to feel alone and sad. doom metal just doesnt make me feel like that. so thats the difference to me. there are other sound differences but to me thats the one that counts

And Doom metal is just heavy metal slowed down, somethimes he has death metal vocals and somethimes he uses instruments like cello, violin etc. DSBM is just very deep kind of slow black metal,,,but he need to be slow? You heard Sterille nails and thunderbowels by SIlencer? I like both of genres, Doom and DSBM, both of them has little bit different feelings to me, but both of them are very emocional nad deep and I love it to death
i need help
idk if have depression or not i mean im confused
im happy i got everything i could want i have a loving family and im still sad i still feel like crying for no reason some times idk why im so sad idk why i cant be reallly sometimes fully happy i always have a frown someone message me with help please couse i think i need it
